💰 Treasurer – Makers’ Space Committee

The Treasurer plays a key role in keeping our Makers’ Space running smoothly by looking after our finances. It's a practical and important role — and you don’t need to be an accountant to do it! If you’re organised and comfortable with simple bookkeeping, this could be a great fit.

💼 What You’ll Do

• Pay invoices and keep track of payments
• Keep clear financial records
• Prepare simple monthly financial updates for committee meetings

📅 Once-a-Year Tasks

• Submit our Annual Financial Report
• Take care of Consumer Affairs lodgement, RAV insurance, and ATO non-lodgement paperwork

🤝 You’re Not Alone

• Previous treasurers can walk you through the process
• Templates and tools are already in place
• The committee works as a team — help is always at hand
