 🎨 Looking for Your Own Creative Corner?
​The Makers’ Shed at the Showgrounds is a great spot to set up a small table-sized studio space—perfect for leaving your projects in place and working at your own pace!
What’s included:
  • Your own space to create and leave work in situ
  • A lockable locker for your tools and personal items
  • Access to shared equipment and the friendly Makers’ Shed community
Cost: Just $10 per month for full members
A few things to note:
  • This is a shared space, so be mindful of others using the area
  • The Shed must be cleared each year from mid-October to mid-November to make way for the Colac Show

Whether you’re working on something big, messy, or just want a regular spot to create—this space is a great, affordable option.

The Colac Makers' Space is primarily an art space that offers our community a place to create their own work. We also run creative drop‑in sessions, affordable workshops, talks, and exhibitions for artists and makers of all experience levels — from complete beginners to established practitioners. We warmly welcome new members who want to learn, experiment, and connect with others in a supportive creative environment.​
Colac Makers' Space Inc respectfully acknowledges the traditional custodians of this land - Gulidjan and Gadubanud peoples of the Eastern Maar Nation- Ancestors and Elders, past, present and all First Nation People of this country.
