New Member Onboarding Checklist

1. Check for new enquiries
   
   • Monitor the bookings email inbox for any new membership requests.
     
2. Confirm payment
   
   • Contact the Treasurer to make sure each new member has paid their membership fee.
     
3. Send a welcome email
   
   • Include:
     
     • A welcome letter
       
     • The access code for the space
       
     • A link to the website with instructions on how to use the space
       
4. Add new members to communication channels
   
   • Invite them to join:
     
     • The Maker Space Members Facebook group
       
     • The Messenger group (invite from the Maker Space page)
       
5. Update the mailing list
   
   • Add their email address to Mailchimp  and Makers space gmail contacts so they receive updates and newsletters.
