We’re here to support artists, makers, and curious beginners with two unique spaces, open studio hours, friendly faces, and lots of room to experiment, learn, and share.

A warm, welcoming space in the heart of Colac — perfect for focused creating or relaxed community time.
Here you’ll find:
- A printmaking press, sewing machines & easels
- Spacious work tables
- A full kitchen for tea & chats
- A lovely exhibition wall to showcase your work
🛠️ The Makers' Shed – Colac Showgrounds
Our large, industrial-style messy space — ideal for bold, hands-on projects.
You’ll find:
- A huge screen-printing table
- Two large workshop tables
- Space to leave work-in-progress
- A kettle & fridge for quick cuppas
- Coming soon Clay Corner for members
- (Heads up- it's a shed so come rugged up in the cooler months-but there are some heaters)
⏰ Regular Open Studio Hours
You’re always welcome to join in — whether you're working on a group project or doing your own thing. Just drop in during any open session and bring what you like to work on!

- Bring your own project and work alongside others
- Use the space to run a workshop or art lessons
- Ask questions — our friendly members are happy to help or connect you with someone who can
