 ✅ Makers’ Space User Checklist🔓 Entering the Space Access outside open studio hours is for full financial members.

To enter the Makers’ Space:

1. Use the first code to open the key safe.
2. Take out the access card and swipe it on the door sensor to unlock the main door.
3. Immediately return the card to the key safe and scramble the code dial so it’s secure.
   💡 Tip: Do this step right away so you don’t forget later!

If entering outside Shire office hours (9:00am–5:00pm):
4. Head straight to the alarm keypad near the internal glass door.
5. Enter your alarm code (sent by email) and press OFF.

• If you enter it incorrectly, just try again.
• If the alarm sounds, call the emergency number on the wall by the keypad and say you're from the Art Space at COPACC.

🏁 Opening the Space

• Place the flags outside near the COPACC driveway.
• Sign in using the Members' Attendance Book.
• If you notice any issues (broken equipment, damage, missing items), please email:

• If needed, complete an Incident Report Form (available on the website).

👋 During the Day

• Greet visitors with a smile! 😊
• Ask them to sign the Visitors’ Book.
• If they’re interested in joining, direct them to the membership form on the website.

🚪 Closing Up

• Tidy up your workspace and leave the area clean for the next person.
• Turn off lights, heaters, and appliances.
• If after hours, go to the alarm keypad near the internal glass door.

To set the alarm:

1. Enter your code.
2. Press ON.
3. You have 30–60 seconds to exit before it activates — it's more time than you think!
   🧳 Tip: Have all your belongings ready outside before setting the alarm.

To turn it off (if you come back):

1. Enter your code.
2. Press OFF.

Lock the main door securely behind you.
