Options for booking
Members booking (For more tips click here) or Private Hire The space is available to be booked for private hire that is inside or outside our membership base Examples include -meetings -Solo work space -Commercial workshops Private Booking Procedures & Form 1. Anyone who would like to privately hire should fill out this form with the type of booking & proposed dates. 2. The Bookings Coordinators will: ● Confirm the availability of Colac Makers’ Space ● Inform the hirer of availability and costs if any. ● Add to Makers’ Space Calendar of events(if required) ● Forwarding any enquiries to the Organiser. ● Hire is generally for half day or full day, with date/s, times for commencement and conclusion as agreed with the Bookings Coordinator. ● The cost of hiring the Makers’ Space: ○ Half day Members (donation) /$50 non-members ○ Full day Members (donation)/$100 non-members Tips for Workshop organisers Check list Step 1- Create promotional material ready to upload on our website and our Facebook pages. Please use either PDF & JPEG formats with photos and details. Word of mouth usually has the best response Step 3. Organise how workshop registrations will be booked- ie directly with the Organiser or via an event brite type platform -set up by organiser (makers's space is not responsible for collection of "private or commercial" fees) Step 4- Ensure you have enough participants for your needs Step 5- Set up the space and deliver your workshop/event. Step 6. At the end of each session ensure he space is tidy . ● Lights and the air conditioning/heating unit must be switched off. Double check the light has gone out on the aircon unit. ● The Security Alarm must be reset if out of shire office hours |
